Caput mundi (“The Capital of the World”), la Citta Eterna (“The Eternal City”), Limen Apostolorum (“The Throne of the Apostles”), La citta dei sette colli (“The City of the Seven Hills”) or simply l’Urbe, (“The City”), Rome is the city that you can not stuff in an array of phrases. You have to look at it, feel the smell of the food that invites you at every corner of the street, cross the streets where you see the epochs shaking hands.
It lets itself being photographed easily if you know the hours when it’s milder or less crowded. That’s why, together with Mihai and Laura, we took off on the streets of this town since sunrise. Usually, our desire to photograph always motivates us to “go a little further” or to “take another shot”. At the same time, we try to read in the eyes of those whom we photograph, that indicate the barometro of their energy, because as much as we would like to “go a little further”, we believe that their experience and comfort are the most important. All this happened until we met Mihai and Laura, who with their superpowers assured us that “going a little further” is not a discomfort, but on the contrary. Our shoes were not delighted with this decision, but the camera was ecstatic!
